About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrols in Portland, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within financial institution locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for employees and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding observed issues, incidents, or maintenance needs.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
