As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within financial institution locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and engage with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within financial institution locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff by offering assistance during emergencies and/or special situations as directed.
