Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Driver in Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with courteous service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services, and follow-up documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter, watching for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and observe activity near restricted areas, cash handling spaces, and ATM areas as assigned, helping to verify authorized entry and supporting orderly visitor flow.
• Complete shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate observations and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and location contacts.
