Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Lobby Desk in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing outstanding customer service. By maintaining a welcoming presence and supporting security-related protocols, you help to deter incidents while upholding our values of reliability, agility, and integrity in every interaction. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain accurate records and logs of visitor and employee activity as required by site procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including communication with Allied Universal management and local authorities.
Support the implementation of security-related measures to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity at the front desk area.
Communicate professionally with all individuals at the location, providing assistance and information as needed.
