As a Front Desk Officer at a financial services location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact for employees and visitors, helping manage access, verify credentials, and support lobby protocols. You will monitor cameras and alarms, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with onsite teams to help reduce incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a front desk location within a financial institution by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing temporary visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing guests to appropriate contacts or areas per site procedures.
  • Answer and route phone calls, monitor lobby activity and/or CCTV where assigned, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and supporting response actions as directed by post orders.
  • Complete required security-related reports and logs such as visitor activity, incident documentation, and shift turnover notes, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
