As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting daily security-related operations. You will manage visitor check-in, verify credentials, monitor access points and camera views, document incidents, and communicate clearly with employees and guests. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and other security-related policies for a tech-focused location.
  • Greet and screen visitors, issue visitor credentials, manage the sign-in process, and notify employees of arrivals while helping to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Monitor lobby activity, camera systems, alarms, and/or other building management systems as assigned, and document unusual activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership, client representatives, and on-site staff.
