About The Position
As a Security Officer - Financial Institution in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, clients, and/or employees in a professional manner at the front desk and assist with access procedures according to site-specific policies.
- Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and logging visitors as required.
- Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them to the appropriate personnel or location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters or incidents at the front desk.
- Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following site-specific procedures.
- Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
