Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Institution in Macon, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for clients and visitors. Your visible presence and exceptional customer service will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering positive interactions. This post requires an active armed guard card/license, offering an engaging opportunity to contribute to a caring, reliable, and innovative team that values integrity and teamwork.
Requirements
- Armed Guard Card or License required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the financial institution environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and maintaining visitor logs as required.
- Support emergency preparedness by participating in drills and following established protocols for various situations.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client personnel to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers.
