Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Reception in Malvern, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, clients, and/or employees at the front desk, providing a welcoming and professional presence.
- Monitor access to the building by verifying credentials and following site-specific access control procedures.
- Assist with visitor registration and direct individuals to the appropriate locations within the financial institution.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
- Communicate and collaborate with site staff and/or management regarding security-related concerns or unusual activity.
- Document and report security-related incidents, irregularities, and/or breaches in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
- Follow site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
- Provide customer service by addressing questions or concerns from building occupants and/or visitors as appropriate.
