As a Security Officer - Financial Dispatch Specialist in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations within a financial institution environment. You will monitor activity, coordinate communication, and respond to incidents, helping to deter potential issues while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and/or resources as needed within the financial institution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site teams and emergency responders as appropriate.
Document and report all security-related incidents, dispatch activities, and communications according to site-specific policies and procedures.
Assist in the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and client management.
Provide customer service by answering inquiries, directing visitors, and facilitating communication between staff, visitors, and security-related personnel.
Assist in monitoring surveillance equipment and/or alarm systems to help to deter unauthorized activities within the location.
Maintain logs and records of dispatch calls, incidents, and communications for review and compliance.
Support Allied Universal security-related personnel by relaying information and updates during critical events.
