About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Specialist in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Monitor and coordinate communications related to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Dispatch security-related personnel and resources as required to respond to incidents within the financial institution location.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of all calls, incidents, and communications handled during the shift.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when necessary.
  • Work closely with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity and support an orderly environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
  • Conduct regular checks of surveillance systems and alarm panels to identify any irregularities or potential issues.
