About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Desk Attendant in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to maintain a secure environment through access control and exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents while upholding our core values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity in a dynamic and people-focused setting.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, employees, and clients at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related matters and customer service.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with Allied Universal management and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
Communicate important information and observations to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts as required.
Support a secure environment by observing and reporting any suspicious activity or security-related concerns at the location.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
