About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Front Desk Attendant in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal in a financial institution setting, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming guests and staff while assisting with access control and providing outstanding customer service. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, all while embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or clients at the front desk in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies and instructions.
  • Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, location staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities at the location when appropriate, following company and site guidelines.
