As a Security Officer Financial Building in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to manage access, support badge procedures, and monitor security-related activity with professionalism and care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, communication, and technology while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and always acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and front desk support at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, and other front desk activity in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, direct foot traffic, and help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of the entrance area and following established security-related protocols.
  • Prepare reports and maintain logs related to visitors, deliveries, incidents, and other security-related matters, while supporting day-to-day operations at the front desk.
