About The Position

As a Security Officer Field Patrol in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe lobby and exterior activity, and report suspicious behavior, property damage, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders.
• Complete routine reports, document daily activity, and relay important information during shift changes to support continuity of security-related operations at the location.
