About The Position
As a Security Officer Driver Field Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activities with professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, and assist with access control, visitor screening, and/or credential checks as directed by site procedures.
- Support daily operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by documenting incidents, communicating with site contacts, and identifying conditions that may require security-related attention.
