As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, support access control and incident reporting, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards, damaged doors or gates, and unusual conditions.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, issuing badges, and directing deliveries and pickups according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical situations, and/or fire related events, and coordinate notifications to site contacts and public responders as required.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports, document observations and actions taken, and communicate shift activity to the next officer and/or site leadership.
