As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will assist with access control, report concerns clearly, and deliver customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy issues.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in, verifying deliveries and pickups, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site management and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate key information during shift transitions, and report maintenance or security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
