About The Position

As a Security Officer - Factory Patrol Driver in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor guidance. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and support controlled entry and exit by checking identification, verifying visitor authorization, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
Document patrols, observations, and incidents in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.
