About The Position

As a Security Officer - Factory Patrol Driver in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor guidance. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and support controlled entry and exit by checking identification, verifying visitor authorization, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Document patrols, observations, and incidents in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.
