As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols on foot and by vehicle, stay visible to help to deter security-related concerns, and support access control and visitor communication. You will document activity, respond to calls for assistance, and deliver strong customer service. This post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and direct deliveries and contractors to appropriate check-in locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Complete timely security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate post updates during shift transitions.
