About The Position

As a Security Officer - Factory Site Patrol Driver in Topton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support access control and visitor interactions with a customer service mindset. You will document security-related activity, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to concerns as they arise. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1+ years of security experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per site instructions.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Control access at vehicle and/or pedestrian entry points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor instructions, and directing deliveries to designated areas.
Perform routine rounds to check doors, gates, and other access points for irregularities and report findings per post orders.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems when assigned, and coordinate response actions according to site procedures.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding operational concerns, maintenance issues, and security-related observations.
Support emergency and non-emergency events such as fire alarms, medical incidents, weather alerts, and/or evacuations by following established response plans.
Maintain a professional presence, provide directions and assistance to employees and visitors, and follow all site rules and Allied Universal standards.
