About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Patrols in Newtown Square, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a PATROL_UNARMED officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and communicate observations, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to support a secure and welcoming environment.
