About The Position

As a Security Guard - Hospital Entry Patrol in Newtown Square, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and concerns in a timely and accurate manner to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
Support Allied Universal and site leadership in maintaining a welcoming and orderly environment for all individuals within the healthcare location.
