About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Facility Patrol Driver in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork and integrity. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • A TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support security-related operations at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the location.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site guidelines.
  • Assist with access control measures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site protocols.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily responsibilities.
