About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Facility Patrol Driver in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork and integrity. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Supervisory experience is required.
A TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support security-related operations at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Maintain clear and professional communication with visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the location.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site guidelines.
Assist with access control measures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site protocols.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily responsibilities.
