As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible at government locations. This is a driving post. You will engage professionally with visitors and staff, support a secure environment, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site protocols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or law enforcement as situations require.
