About The Position

As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol Driver in Greene, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe conditions within the location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
Document observations and incidents according to company and client protocols.
Liaise with facility staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Assist with access control measures and visitor management processes as required by site procedures.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities or drills at the manufacturing and industrial location.
