You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.
• Having CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the tech workplace, including interior areas, loading and delivery zones, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing employees, contractors, and guests according to site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in a timely manner, and communicate observations and follow-up items during shift transitions.
