Job Description As a Security Officer - Experienced Patrol Officer in Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with teams and site contacts, and deliver a welcoming customer service experience. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, entrances, loading and receiving areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access control points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and direct guests, vendors, and employees according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical situations, alarms, and/or suspicious activity, and notify appropriate personnel.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate notable observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
