As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to reports while providing professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with site teams, document observations, and contribute to a caring culture built on integrity, agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at a tech and telecommunications location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
- Monitor alarms, access control points, and/or camera systems as assigned, report unusual activity, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical responses, facility emergencies, and/or evacuation procedures as directed.
- Complete detailed written reports and daily activity logs, document incidents and observations, and support investigations by preserving information and reporting through the proper channels.
