As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, support access control and visitor directions, and communicate clearly with site personnel. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and help manage visitor, vendor, and delivery traffic using sign-in processes, badge procedures, and/or directing drivers to designated areas.
- Complete routine security-related logs, inspections, and shift reports, and communicate equipment issues, hazards, and/or operational concerns through the proper channels.
