As an unarmed, driving patrol officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and communicate clearly with team members and site leadership. Guided by a caring culture, you will deliver through teamwork and act with integrity every shift.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Security Experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Control access at entry points by checking identification, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, and directing people and vehicle traffic according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and operational disruptions to the appropriate contacts.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation; communicate observations and/or concerns to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
