As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist staff and visitors with directions and customer service, communicate clearly over radio and in reports, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, offices, loading areas, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions that could help to deter unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, managing visitor entry procedures, and maintaining logs and/or reports in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other systems when assigned, reporting maintenance concerns and completing accurate shift reports, incident reports, and/or other required documentation.
