About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Lahaina, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a government court location, where you will help screen visitors, manage entry points, and support access control with professionalism and care. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Screen visitors, employees, and/or authorized personnel entering the location using approved equipment and established screening protocols.
Verify identification, credentials, and permitted items in accordance with post orders and location policies, and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, prohibited items, and/or elevated situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following documented procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, public areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help support security-related operations.
