As a Screener with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet drivers and team members, check credentials, support access control, and screen people and items entering the facility. You will stay visible near entrances and high-traffic areas, report concerns clearly, and help with routine patrols and monitoring. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors and/or contractors at entry points using approved screening methods, verify identification and maintain required access logs.
• Monitor for prohibited items and report concerns per site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or loss.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, staging areas, parking areas and the perimeter, and report maintenance and/or lighting issues that could impact operations.
