About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Lebanon, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support a smooth flow of people and vehicles. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification practices, and security-related policies at the location.
Monitor entry and exit points for the distribution facility, verify credentials, manage visitor and delivery access, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, truck areas, and perimeter to help identify potential concerns, report observed conditions, and support security-related operations.
Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and access records, and help support compliance with post orders, screening procedures, and shipping and receiving traffic protocols.
