Job Description As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Lahaina, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a government court location, where you will help screen visitors, manage entry points, and support access control with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Screen visitors, employees, and/or authorized personnel entering the location using approved equipment and established screening protocols.
  • Verify identification, credentials, and permitted items in accordance with post orders and location policies, and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, prohibited items, and/or elevated situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following documented procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, public areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help support security-related operations.
