Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials, register guests and/or contractors, and report unauthorized access attempts or other security-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Support security-related operations at a busy retail distribution location by managing vehicle and pedestrian access, communicating with site contacts, and documenting incidents, deliveries, and/or unusual activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, receiving areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require follow-up or additional reporting.
