Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorize visitor and vendor access, and document deliveries, trailers, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with post instructions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and completing detailed activity and incident reports as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gate areas, parking lots, dock areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
