Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid are preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
Support site operations by communicating with staff, screening deliveries and/or vendors as directed, and maintaining accurate logs and reports related to security-related activities.
