Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid knowledge is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to location guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and/or restricted areas in support of healthcare location protocols while communicating clearly with personnel and guests.
  • Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, assisting with directions, and following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed expectations.
