About The Position

As a Security Officer - Energy Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism. You will support access control checks, complete detailed reports, and provide excellent customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and assigned post orders at a utilities location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and control entry for authorized personnel, deliveries, and contractors by verifying identification, issuing visitor directions, and maintaining visitor and/or vehicle logs as required.
  • Respond to alarms, calls for service, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Complete detailed activity, incident, and maintenance-related observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.
