As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and support a people-first environment with integrity, teamwork, and reliability while staying agile and innovative in your approach.

Requirements

  • EMT Certification is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Previous Firefighting Experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter lines; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points, gates, and designated restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity; verify identification and visitor authorization per site policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, injuries, equipment issues, and policy violations; notify supervision and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate observations and hazards to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
