As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and document observations and activities. This is a driving post and requires a valid drivers license per AU Driver Policy requirements. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach while providing clear communication and strong customer service.

Requirements

EMT Certification is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Previous firefighting experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and document entries, exits, and deliveries in logs and/or electronic systems.
Complete routine patrol and incident reports, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support investigations by preserving observations and/or available video information.
