As an unarmed patrol officer at a high-tech aerospace and defense location, you will monitor access points and patrol buildings and grounds to help identify unusual activity, respond to incidents, and support emergency procedures. This is a driving post, so you may conduct vehicle patrols and complete detailed reports. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or site authorization, and directing visitors in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate pertinent information during post briefings and/or pass-downs.
