As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor processing, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams while maintaining professionalism at all times. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter gates to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and communicate observations to the appropriate client contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, providing direction to visitors and/or employees, and requesting emergency services when needed.
• Complete security-related logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation; support badge and visitor processing as assigned, and report maintenance hazards and/or suspicious activity through the proper channels.
