As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Foot Patrol in Mount Juliet, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support teams with customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset rooted in a caring culture and integrity.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting concerns and/or maintenance issues through established communication channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts, Allied Universal supervision, and/or local responders as directed.
- Document patrols, incidents, and observations in daily activity reports and/or electronic systems in accordance with post orders.
