As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with team members and site personnel, document observations, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and the perimeter, noting irregular conditions and reporting them through required channels.
  • Support access control activities such as verifying identification, managing visitor check-in, directing deliveries to designated areas, and documenting entries and exits per site procedures.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, monitor assigned cameras and/or alarm panels when applicable, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
