As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will complete vehicle patrols, perform visible rounds and site checks, and document security-related activity using a computer and/or tablet. You will help to deter incidents through strong presence, clear communication, and customer-focused service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas such as lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, and medical situations while coordinating with property management and/or local responders as needed.
• Control access to the location by monitoring entrances, observing visitor traffic, and verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift communications for Allied Universal and property management, using clear documentation and timely notifications when issues arise.
