About The Position

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will respond to calls for service across the site and complete clear reports. Bring your armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license, and deliver calm, customer-focused communication with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in, and/or screening deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control, and report irregular activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues through required reporting channels.
