About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced healthcare location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, professional communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license, and you will carry a firearm while supporting patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Have a Law Enforcement Officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing incident details to appropriate personnel and/or responding public agencies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Control access points by monitoring authorized entry, checking credentials when directed, and helping to maintain orderly flow in lobbies, waiting areas, and/or restricted departments.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation as required, and report hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns to site leadership for follow-up.
